All in all, it was great. Clean, close to the beach and not far from the university...
For everyone except Netflix and Instagram addicts!
Really beautiful villa, the flooding is not a problem as we initially thought and the housekeeper is the friendliest lady! Everything is taken care of here, the only problem is the wifi, very slow and very often fails, you can forget Netflix and co! If high quality wifi is not important to you highly recommended!
We liked it
We liked it a lot. The rooms are a bit worn, especially the bathroom. But the bed is great, the rooms aren't damp, you always get fresh towels and there are even towels for the pool, which is really great! There's a really good laundry right next door and the whole area is really nice. For a medical student the location is perfect, close to the sea, but also the sanglah hospital is easy to reach (15-20min by scooter, about 35k by grab-taxi). If something was broken (or clogged) it was repaired immediately and the family is very nice and helpful! The price-performance ratio is right :)
Gladly again
The pool was small but nice, the walls are a bit noisy, unfortunately during my stay there were many guests who were still watching videos outside their rooms at night. The owner is very helpful and friendly, when there was a problem with the shower he had it fixed the same day and otherwise would have moved me to an alternative room.
Great place for a semester abroad in Bali
To summarise, Jimbaran Luxury Residence is a great place to stay during a semester abroad in Bali. The rooms are in good condition and the staff is very friendly. However, there are some downsides, such as the slow internet and the fact that you can't use the kitchen. But to be honest you don't need a kitchen in Bali as it is extremely cheap to order food or go to a restaurant. The location is good as it is close to Udayana University. However, if you are looking for clubs and bars, you should consider a flat further north.
Above average!
It was a great time. Honestly probably the best 4 months of my life. This villa was part of that great experience. I would especially like to thank the host Manfred for his support. I would definitely recommend this villa to others, thank you very much!
Too expensive
Price-performance not justified, standard never equals 300€. For less money everything would be perfect, except for the water pump. Nice housekeeper!

Great, but in need of renovation
Please renovate bathrooms, doors, water tank, air conditioning. Location, layout, facilities are great!
Came down
Only 2 out of 4 toilets work. Often no water, generally a bit run down. Mice in the kitchen. Super villa in itself, once repaired.
New home in Bali
I have found a new family here. Helen and Adel are charming hosts with whom you can spend wonderful weekends. At first I was a bit shocked by the bullterrier Choppy, but in reality he's like Hello Kitty - a totally lovely dog. I will definitely be back!
Could have been better
Paying so much money for a good house in poor condition. Cockroaches and ants everywhere in the walls. Wifi/ water/ electricity sometimes not available for hours. House needs to be renovated.
Bukit Apartment
The best guesthouse in the Bukit area. Nice staff, clean, big pool, very quiet neighbourhood. Close to the side walk Jimbaran Mall and the beach. Highly recommended!
Enjoyed the stay
I really liked the Jimbaran Luxury Residence. The rooms are comfortable and the staff are nice and friendly. Due to its location in Jimbaran, it is the perfect accommodation for studying at Udayana University in Bukit.
Would live here again, but...
The wifi could be better, especially the coverage in the rooms. The speed itself is very good. Please buy a repeater to improve the coverage.
Good, but cleanliness and value for money could be better
It is a nice accommodation, but the cleaning service was not as agreed in the contract. Furthermore, the electricity was not charged as previously discussed.
Fortune Apartment
To summarise, I really liked it here. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The only complaint is the building site next to our apartment/pool. Furthermore, I don't think it's a good idea to put students and families in the same flat.
Satisfied except for a few points
- Large room and large bathroom, which is well equipped - Praise to manager Made, was always available and dealt with any complaints quickly. - The team on site was always easy to talk to - The rooms on the ground floor cannot be well ventilated and smell musty. There are mould deposits behind the beds - Very disappointed with the semester abroad team. Even if you consider that the staff were absent, they still argued against complaints with the argument "it's worse somewhere else", which is an impossible attitude, but happened again and again. - Manage contract conclusion better
Villa Tjok
At first glance, the villa looks very friendly, the rooms are all large and well equipped, as are the bathrooms. The neighbourhood and the location of the villa is very good, as you can reach all the hotspots quite quickly. However, the best thing was the manager, as he is very helpful and no matter if you had a problem he was immediately on the spot or looked for a solution. Unfortunately, the rooms on the ground floor are difficult to ventilate and therefore smell musty. The electricity is very expensive and you have to make sure that it is always available, which is very stressful. From midday there is no sun on the property because of the high concrete wall. The rooms upstairs are partly leaky. Also not satisfied with the staff, arguing against problems that could be solved with "it's worse in other villas" is not a solution and cheeky.
All-round pleasant stay
At first glance a very nice villa, the rooms are all very spacious, large beds and each has its own bathroom. The location of the villa and the quiet village are also positive. The biggest plus is the management of the villa, who made every effort to solve problems immediately. Unfortunately, the sun only shines in the villa in the mornings and the pool is therefore rarely used. A big minus is given to the rooms downstairs, which smell very musty if not ventilated
Great accommodation, great service
Housekeepers were very good. All wishes were fulfilled. Security, etc. also to our complete satisfaction. Cleanliness in the rooms was also very good. The only shortcoming would perhaps be the equipment in the kitchen. We bought some things ourselves, e.g. kettle, chopping boards, bowls, etc...
The Coconut
The flat is very nice. The pool is clean and a reasonable size. The room is cleaned every 2 days and you can have the laundry done for a fee. If there are any problems it is easy to contact the landlord. Sometimes there were problems with humidity, electricity or water - but this is typical for Bali. To summarise, a good experience and a very good place to get to the beach, the university, the airport or the city.
Good value for money
Bedroom is ok. Be careful about the humidity. Kitchen is not clean and smells of cats. Staff is very nice and accommodating. Pool and dining area are very good!
