Villa Oasis

This accommodation can be rented on a room-by-room basis. It is not necessary to book all the rooms.

Villa Oasis is situated in a quiet location on Jalan Umalas Kelecung in Umalas. It consists of two buildings with a private pool in the middle. There are a total of 8 rooms; 7 of them are each equipped with 2 single beds, whilst one room has just one single bed. All rooms have an en-suite bathroom and running hot water. The water is heated by a solar system, making it environmentally friendly. As a result, the water may not always reach the full temperature on cloudy days. All rooms have air conditioning. Each room has two safes: one for cash and documents, and a larger one for laptops (you’ll need to bring your own padlock).

The villa has achieved cult status, as it has been rented out to students since the very early days of the first exchange programmes in Bali. The landlords live right next door, which is very handy if you have any questions or problems. They speak German, English and Indonesian. It’s just a five-minute walk to Seminyak or Petitenget, so there are plenty of restaurants, shops and bars right on your doorstep. Unlike most villas in Bali, a great deal of attention has been paid to safety and comfort here. For example, every room has more than one power socket. In Indonesia, just one socket per room is the norm. Since March 2016, the villa has also had a high-speed fibre-optic internet connection offering speeds of up to 100 Mbit/s. The bathrooms are mostly open-plan but have been built to be burglar-proof. A coin-operated washing machine is available. However, just round the corner on the same street, there is also an affordable laundry service where you can have your laundry washed and ironed at a reasonable price.

Villa 1 has three double bedrooms and a semi-open-plan, well-equipped kitchen with a spacious dining area. On the second floor is the lounge with a flat-screen TV and a large sofa. All rooms are equally equipped and have an en-suite bathroom.

Villa 2 has four double bedrooms and one single bedroom. The villa also features a fully equipped kitchen (semi-open plan) and a living room with a round dining table, as well as a TV area with a sofa on the upper floor. All rooms are equally equipped and have an en-suite bathroom.

The three studio flats are separate from Villas 1 and 2, have their own private entrance and a large garden with parking. However, they are also directly connected to Villas 1 and 2 via a passageway.
