Behind Semester Abroad Bali is a small, personal crew - not an agency, but people who have studied in Bali themselves.
Hi, I'm Max - I went to Bali twice for my own semester abroad and quickly realised: there are now lots of expensive agencies, but little honest, curated help in finding accommodation for students. That's exactly what I wanted to change. So I founded Auslandssemester-Bali.de together with its former founder
We check every villa personally, talk to the landlords on site and weed out the things that look nice in pictures but are annoying in everyday life. You book directly with us - no booking surcharge, no commissions to third parties.
What is important to us
Personal
You can reach us directly - no call centre, no ticket system. WhatsApp, email, a quick call: whatever you prefer.
Honest
If a villa doesn't suit your budget or the region doesn't suit your lifestyle, we'll say so. Not a hard sell.
On site
We are regularly on the island ourselves and know the landlords and villas personally. If you have any questions or problems, you always have a manager to contact.
Student first
We're building this for students, not beach club tourists. Long stays, fair prices, honest advice.
