Recognition from your home university

Many German universities recognise credits earned abroad via learning agreements or ECTS. It’s important to check with your Examinations Office or International Office in advance to confirm recognition.

Tuition fees – depending on the provider and programme – are often between around €1,800 and €2,500 per semester. Good news: Tuition fees can be covered in full or in part through the Auslands-BAföG scheme. For a detailed breakdown of costs, check out our ‘Costs’ section.
