Laying the foundations

• Choose a study programme
  Which university is right for you? Which courses are recognised? And which provider is the best choice? On our site, you’ll find an overview of the most popular study programmes in Bali, including their differences and unique features.
  
• Clarify the Learning Agreement and credit recognition
  If you want to have courses recognised for credit, you should speak to your university well in advance. Many students use a Learning Agreement or similar recognition processes for this.
  
• Planning your finances
  A semester in Bali is often cheaper than many people think. Nevertheless, you should plan realistically for accommodation, living costs, insurance and leisure activities. We’ll show you exactly how expensive Bali really is in our transparent cost overview.
  
• Check your BAföG for studying abroad
  Many students are eligible – often even if they don’t receive BAföG in Germany. What’s particularly exciting is that tuition fees can be covered either partially or in full.
  
• Considering a shared flat or your own accommodation
  Would you prefer to live with other students or have your own place? Your accommodation often has a bigger impact on your Bali experience than you might think.

• Planning your visa
  A standard tourist visa is usually not enough for a semester abroad. On our website, we explain step by step which visas are available to students, what the differences are and what you need to bear in mind.
  
• Take out international health insurance
