The best decision you can make!
These people really have become a second family away from home. We have enjoyed every second here and will definitely be back! We love our H2O family via alles❤️ Hendra Helen and Halim are wonderful people and we hope the next residents will appreciate that too. If you are looking for more than just student parties then come here and experience Bali with them. They will always help you and give you the best insider tips. You will feel at home from the very first second, I promise! The location is also incredible. Especially for students from abroad, it's a stone's throw to the university. Just walk across the street. Every student will envy you if you can walk straight home in the cancelled lessons (happens all the time) and drive off to the beach. Others from Kerobokan drive 40 minutes and waste their time. The most famous beaches are all in the immediate vicinity and Kuta is also easy to reach. McDonalds, Pizzahut and all the Italian restaurants can be reached in 5 minutes. There is a warung and a juice bar on the doorstep, and you can also eat in the university canteen on the other side of the street. For beer, there is a minimart along the street (within walking distance). Otherwise, I would advise you to bear in mind that there are often arguments in large villas because people don't get on with each other. Then again, there are problems because one person has to take on all the responsibility regarding payment etc. In addition, there have often been cases of fraud where European landlords have suddenly charged additional costs (this also happened to me in my first villa) or you can't understand the electricity bill and lose your money quite quickly. Do yourself a favour and avoid these problems! At H2O Homestay, everyone is responsible for their own room and paying their rent. In addition, each room has its own electricity meter right outside the door and can keep track of everything (hardly any other villa does this). For me it was the best decision to move here, in fact I regret not getting to know them sooner! They are the most honest and lovely people and you will feel very safe here because they know how to help you in every situation (accidents, homework etc.) and above all they take you in from the heart. Believe me, everyone who came to visit us liked them straight away and you will too, just give them a chance! PS: Three incredibly great dogs are waiting to live and cuddle with you! :) I hope I was able to take away some of your fears and help you - come here to the H2O Homestay and have the time of your life you darlings!
fantastic flatmates with many unforgettable moments
Choosing this homestay to live in is an excellent decision. Not only are you renting a room with a pool view, but you are collecting moments that will make you love H2O Jimbaran. The flatmates always have a lot to do together. We often went out together, discovered beaches or fantastic places and discovered local delicacies for ourselves ;)
Hammer 1 (formerly Capricorn 1) WS 14
The villa is huge and the garden with pool is also large. It would be perfect for throwing parties, but loud music is only allowed until 12am because of the neighbours. The location is great: not too far from the university. Shops, restaurants and the night market are close by. Kuta is only about 10 minutes away by scooter or taxi. All in all, a good place to stay during the semester.
Hammer 1 (formerly Capricorn 1) WS 14
The villa is located in Seminyak on the border to Legian. The location is very good as you are not in the centre of the nightlife, but still everything is close to the villa. Supermarkets, the night market, Double-Six 66 Beach (3 minutes by scooter), the entertainment centre in Seminyak and it's not far to Kuta either. The university is 20 minutes away by scooter. The villa has a spacious garden with a large pool. It's the perfect place to meet up with friends, but it's only allowed to party until 11am or 12pm because there are other flats and villas around it. Electricity is included up to a limit of IDR 1 million (65 euros), but that should normally be enough. The only thing missing was a barbecue. All in all a great place to stay due to the great location and garden. I will miss my time there!
Great accommodation - but not a "students resort"
A good and central accommodation in Bali. The rooms are nice and more importantly - clean... there was daily cleaning service. The pool is great and quite big. It is also very nice to get breakfast every morning. The only thing to complain about is the bar, sometimes the loud music is annoying. Everyone who books this accommodation should know that it is not - as described - a student resort. It is more of a hotel that rents out rooms permanently to students. We are currently only 8 students.
Jeje Resort review
I lived in the resort for 1.5 months and then decided to stay there for the next 3 months until I fly back home because I just love this place. The rooms are in very good condition and are equipped with air conditioning, TV and private bathroom. Especially the TV is great as there are many programmes, such as amc or HBO. What I particularly liked was the swimming pool, which is cleaned regularly. The bar is usually quite full of people in the afternoon. That was the only drawback of the accommodation, as it could get a bit noisy during the week. All in all, I really enjoyed my stay there and would recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for something centrally located in Bali.
Balinese treasure
The maid is incredibly nice. The owner of the villa should/must invest money in the accommodation. The villa is nice but old. Many things could be renewed. The Balinese style is nice but has potential for expansion. I can recommend the villa because of the size, the friendly maid and the good location.
Very good choice for accommodation!
I stayed at Villa Topgun for 2 months with friends and we loved it. Good location, in a great area and the pool - gazebo combo is unique, the rooms are very spacious and there was a cosy central living area with kitchen. I would absolutely recommend this accommodation! Thank you Duha for arranging the villa for us!
Outstanding value for money with great staff
We were a group of 4 people and actually only wanted to book in until we had found a "nice" villa on site. In the end, we spent our entire stay at the Bagus, which was due to several aspects. First of all, the Bagus Jaya Residence doesn't offer the luxury of a villa, but it does offer numerous other advantages: Firstly, the location is perfect. There are many other student villas and a small bakery serving Western breakfast in the neighbourhood. Directly opposite, Made (the good mummy for all residents) has a small warung where you can get something to eat at almost any time of day or night. She also helps you to integrate and has tips and tricks about Bali. There is a small supermarket 1 minute away that has everything you need. There is also a laundry next door where you can have everything from shoes to swimming trunks and caps washed for a small fee. It's about 35 minutes by scooter to the university and 10 minutes to the beach, and you're not in the most touristy part of the area, which is why the prices for food and co. are not quite as expensive as in Legian, Seminyak or Kuta. During my stay, there were also other students there (there were about 15 of us in total), so there was always something going on and you could tell each other about the upcoming party and everyone knew something different. The two gazebos (roofed, wall-less "huts"), where you can chill out and relax, also contribute to the sociability. The staff at Bagus are super friendly. Osiana and Made, the house managers, help with the odd hangover or the difficult Indonesian test. The cleaning staff take good care of the cleanliness of the rooms and you don't have to worry about anything getting lost. The people are all absolutely trustworthy. There is also the security service. The guys help you to park your scooter and make sure that everything is in order at night. The numerous cameras also contribute to security. The rooms themselves are equipped with almost everything you need, the only thing missing is a fan, as sooner or later you will catch a cold from the air conditioning. We simply bought one for the equivalent of 6 euros. Another small drawback is the somewhat slow internet. However, you will only find super fast internet in very few places in Bali... So if you're looking for clean, well-located accommodation with a great community and can do without a rainforest shower with higher monthly rents, you're definitely in good hands here.
Beautiful villa for students
I liked the villa, it's a bit older but still nice. There were problems with the wifi at first, but these were eventually fixed. Now the internet connection should be better. At times there was no water in some of the bathrooms - that was annoying. Otherwise, I can recommend the villa. The pool is great and perfect for lazy days.
Satisfied with compromises
It's a villa with an absolute home from home feeling. However, the Wi-Fi didn't work about half the time. The landlady is always walking around the property, you are never really alone. A few neighbours also often look in at the front. That's why there was a lack of privacy. Nevertheless, I think the accommodation is good.
Great service, great people!
You were made to feel welcome from the very first second! The rooms are simply furnished, but good. They are cleaned every day if you want. The staff are all very friendly and help you with any problem. They can also get you a scooter. You can also drop off laundry directly at the hotel! I felt right at home.

Almost perfect!
Super villa. The room layout with the large central outdoor area/pool creates a great feeling of togetherness, but you still enjoy privacy. Water pressure sometimes off. W-Lan very rarely weak... otherwise PERFECT. Especially because of the location :)
Very nice villa
The villa is very nice and well built. The pool is a dream. There are many opportunities to relax. The rooms are also very nice, but have very different layouts. All in all, it is one of the nicest villas I have seen here.
A great villa for students
The location of Villa DC is great. You can get everywhere very easily, even if the walk to the university is perhaps longer than with others. Small negative aspects are that the Wi-Fi is not very strong and constant, the water pressure is often off and the electricity can sometimes fail when using the microwave or hairdryer. But all of this is rectified relatively quickly by the contact persons here. The bakery right next door is also practical.

BEST villa in the WORLD :)
To get to the point... Everything here is just great! The rooms are super spacious (two of us shared a room and it was totally great) and each room has its own open-plan bathroom. The bathrooms downstairs even have greenery, which makes them even nicer. The communal areas are also super large and beautifully designed. The pool and outdoor area connects the two villas and the sun terrace above the garage is a great place to relax. It is totally uncomplicated because everyone only has to pay rent for their room and does not have to rent the house as a whole. The villas are always cleaned properly every day except Sundays and public holidays and the landlords live right next door, so you always have a contact person on site and if something had to be repaired, it was always done very quickly. If we had any questions about other things, we were always helped. Ayu and Manni are really lovely people and even celebrate your birthday with you :) The location of the villa is also super good, as it is very easy to get to Canggu, Kuta and other regions. If you have visitors coming, you can easily rent an extra bed or, if available, a room. The time we had here was really great and we got to know a lot of nice people. We partied together here, organised one or two pool activities or went out to eat together. All in all, I can recommend the villa 100% and you will have the best time you can have in Bali :)
Super quality at a fair price
Hey guys, I lived in the villa for three months in the summer semester 2016. The landlords Ayu and Manni are wonderfully friendly and always ready to help. The house and the individual rooms are in very good condition and are cleaned daily. Another positive aspect is the flexible rental contracts and the resulting independence for each flatmate. The open-plan bathrooms are also a highlight. There is a fast internet connection by Balinese standards, although fluctuations in speed are always part of the experience. The location in Krebokan is super convenient. It is 30 - 40 minutes by scooter to the campus in Jimbaran. Canggu is also within easy reach and there are many restaurants nearby. All in all, a clear recommendation for anyone who wants to live in a high-quality house.
