Villa Bintang

The villa itself consists of two houses, one with four bedrooms and the other with two. The four-bedroom house has three rooms with double beds and one room with two single beds. All rooms have air conditioning. There are four bathrooms and a very large living area with an open-plan kitchen.

The second house is right next door and has two bedrooms, each with a double bed. The upstairs room only has a fan, as it’s open-plan. The bathroom for the upstairs room is downstairs. This place is certainly something special, as you rarely come across anything like it. The living area is generously equipped with an open-plan kitchen, a bookshelf and a sofa, and right outside the door there are several sun loungers, a hammock, chairs, a large table and everything else you might need.

Each kitchen has its own fridge and its own kit. In the lush garden there are two gazebos, one of which is situated high up with a view over the garden, the pool and the neighbouring grounds. The pool is one of the largest and best-maintained in our portfolio. Naturally, there’s hot water and Wi-Fi throughout. Cleaning and pool maintenance are included. The owner, Ketut, lovingly looks after the garden. She speaks English very well and even understands a bit of German. Her husband is from Germany, but he’s only in Bali for a few weeks each year.

The villa is in a very quiet location. It’s at the end of a cul-de-sac, so it’s very safe. You can be in Seminyak in five minutes and in Kuta for the nightlife in 15 minutes. There are several good, affordable warungs and restaurants in the immediate vicinity. Warung Sobat 2 is very popular with all students. A little-known gem is the Vietnamese restaurant XichLo. There’s a 24-hour market just a minute’s walk away. The laundrette is practically next door. A supermarket (Yonico Supermarket) is directly opposite, on the other side of the road.
