Great villa with super facilities and comfort in a quiet location

I enjoyed a very nice semester 2014/15 at Villa Oasis. The rooms are nice and large and have attached bathrooms with good facilities and casual sculpture showers. A real treat. If you like, you can book the air conditioning flexibly, just talk to Manfred or Ayu, who are really always there for you and take care of you, no matter what. The fast internet connection that was set up during our stay was a real improvement and is worth every cent of the rent. The chill-out area upstairs is also very nice, where we spent good evenings, as is the always clean and very nice pool. The fact that your room is made almost every day is a real luxury. The large garage in which many scooters can be stored safely and dryly and which also has surfboard holders is also fantastic. There is enough space and equipment in the kitchens to cook and there are also plenty of fridges, which is of course extremely important for food and beer. In any case, the villa also has enough space to retreat or sunbathe in peace on the garage roof terrace (and peace means peace in the otherwise quite noisy island!) The area (Umalas) is also very well located in my opinion. You can get off quickly in all directions, to the university, Kuta, Legian and the university, but you can also go north or to Seminyak. Only to Uluwatu it really takes a bit longer... Just around the corner, less than 5 minutes away (at the Legong Hotel) is a great surf spot, which you can always go to spontaneously but preferably early in the morning and even before university, through rice fields and the like. That's very practical! So is the small shop opposite, especially for drinks and a small morning nasi campur. A few nice little warungs and numerous facilities (hairdresser, shops, massage, etc.) are also in the immediate neighbourhood. On my next visit to Bali, I will definitely stop by again for a few days!

Vila is unbeatable!

- Villa in top condition - Quiet location - Best villa we have found in Bali - After cancellation of the first cleaning lady unfortunately very bad service. It was hardly cleaned at all. Staff slept a lot and obviously only did work on request - W-Lan failed very often - New villa staff on departure is great! - Really a great villa

Top villa in Bali - great facilities, great location, nice landlord.

I lived in Villa Oasis for a semester and can only recommend it. The rooms are spacious. The semi-open bathrooms with stone statues as showers are a dream. The rooms are cleaned daily and air conditioning is also available for an extra charge. The spacious open-plan living areas and the large "chill meadows" invite you to cosy get-togethers. Everything is clean and well equipped. The friendly landlords also invited us to the ritual blessing of the house. Directly across the street is a shop for daily needs and beer. To summarise: Villa Oasis lives up to its name!

Very happy to do it again

I lived in villa oasis in the winter semester 2015 and felt very comfortable there. Everything is clean and it is cleaned every day. It's also definitely the nicest villa I've seen in the area and I would choose villa oasis again every time.

It couldn't have been better!

If you want to live in Bali with European standards and hospitality, you should move to Villa Oasis. Ayu, the owner of the villa, always had an open ear, helped with problems and made the semester abroad so incredibly homely. The villa is spotlessly clean, nobody complains about the noise if you want to party and any defects or damage that occur are rectified immediately. If I ever come back to Bali, I will definitely stay there again! It couldn't have been better!

Very good, the perfect place

It was a really nice villa to live in. Domingo is the best housekeeper and always helpful. The garden and pond are really good. There are a few internet problems and the toilet flushing is not strong enough. But all in all I love the accommodation and the staff. In room no 1 the light bulb could be a bit brighter.

All in all very satisfied

The housekeeper and his family are really nice. It was a bit noisy in my room because the walls are not that thick. But the house and the rooms are really nice, especially the super big pool. I really enjoyed my time here.

All in all very satisfied

I really enjoyed my stay here because of the friendly atmosphere and the beautiful outdoor area. The pool is awesome and you can hang out with your flatmates in the kitchen area. However, the furnishings are quite old, especially the bathrooms. I really liked Domingo, the maid. His friendly nature made the stay very pleasant. Only the cockroaches in the room were not always so pleasant.

Really great place

It was a really great place to live for 4 months. The accommodation is not really new and the water is not really hot but for the price it's absolutely ok. The garden and pool are really good.

Super Villa!

I really enjoyed my time at Villa Rajawali! Especially the location, the villa and the family that takes care of this villa. Thank you for a wonderful time!

Christoph · Mai 2016 · 🇮🇩for Villa Rajawali

Super villa because super people!

I think the villa is really great and the location is very good. The only thing to criticise is that the internet didn't always work properly and my air conditioning was often broken.

Max · Mai 2016 · 🇮🇩for Villa Rajawali

Very okay

All in all, I was very happy here. The housekeeper Domingo and his family always did their best to make our stay here a pleasant one. The wifi was very poor, and for a very long time. Furthermore, the scooters provided are life-threatening (flat tyres, broken battery, steering, etc.). Above all, it is a cheek that we have to pay for long overdue repairs. The kitchen should be put in better condition. In the video about the villa you can see TVs in all the rooms. That is not true! Not that they are necessary, but then they shouldn't be promised.

Simon · Mai 2016 · 🇮🇩for Villa Rajawali

Very satisfied

Everything was great, unfortunately we had a rat in the room. The only problem was that Domingo's family lived right next door to us and it was extremely noisy in our room from 5am onwards, as nobody showed any consideration.

Katja · Mai 2016 · 🇮🇩for Villa Rajawali

Super villa for animal lovers

Very nice villa! Everything went very smoothly and Domingo was always very helpful. However, we would recommend taking a close look at the scooters on the first day as we often had problems with them. The pool was also quite green after a while. Nevertheless, I would definitely recommend the villa! But beware: there is a rat in one of the rooms in the extra house and Domingo's little child screams from 5am and the children turn up the music.

Everything done right!

We travelled to Bali for a semester abroad with a total of 4 people. After much deliberation, we decided against a villa and in favour of this apartment complex. We rented 3 standard rooms, one of which was shared. Due to the poor description and lack of reviews, we didn't know what to expect here and had lowered our expectations accordingly. In the end, we were pleasantly surprised and felt very comfortable here. As soon as we arrived at night, we were warmly welcomed by the owner, the staff and other residents. After our luggage had been taken to our room and we had changed our clothes, the operator called Ketut showed us around the area, an ATM, restaurants and supermarkets. Apart from that, he helped us with everything. He got us scooters which cost between 650,000 and 700,000 IDR per month (but you can also get them cheaper on this site). He gave us driving lessons for the scooters. Solved problems with our international driving licence. Accompanied us to hospital if we had a fever, for example, or to the police if we didn't follow the traffic rules. He can also be contacted by phone around the clock if you've just been stopped by the police or if your scooter has broken down. The staff are also always friendly and helpful. The rooms are suitably furnished. Apart from geckos, we didn't have any creepy-crawlies. The rooms are cleaned daily on request. Towels and bed linen are changed once a week. You can simply leave your own laundry at reception. You pay around €1.30 to €2 for a week's worth of laundry. The staff will take them to the dry cleaners and you will get them back after 2 days at the latest. There is a fridge at reception with soft drinks, water and beer. The drinks are offered at supermarket prices and are simply written to your room. There is another fridge in a small niche where you can store your own things. The pool is very clean and well-maintained, which is not always the case in Bali. We find it positive that the other residents of the complex are very international. We live here with Dutch, Swedes and Belgians who are between 19 and 26 years old. The complex is located in a small neighbourhood behind the party mile. It's about a 5-minute walk to the popular Skygarden disco. Nevertheless, it is relatively quiet here. The university can be reached by scooter in 25 minutes as indicated and the route is relatively simple. It takes about 20 minutes to walk to the beach. There are several very good local restaurants just around the corner where you can get Mie Goreng + drink for the equivalent of €1.60. Ultimately, we can say that we didn't want for anything here and if we did, Ketut would certainly take care of it. We can recommend this flat to anyone, even if you don't attach much importance to partying.

Great value for money

The best you can get for the price. We only had to pay about 50 euros extra for electricity and had both air conditioners on for 12 hours every night for 4 months, so no worries about electricity. The pool and garden are wonderful, as is the location and the staff are extremely friendly. An absolute recommendation.
