Plenty of space to enjoy your time in Bali
Pros: plenty of space Friendly and helpful management and service good location between good food, lots of parties but still quiet to relax nice pool many very friendly local neighbours Con: the bedrooms are all very different the room on the upper floor of the smaller house has no air conditioning and no privacy Guests pay 50k IDR even though we already pay a high rent for the accommodation, electricity, water,... pay Lots of friendly neighbours, all locals - they have to work every day and get up very early, so it's difficult to party all night in the garden.
Again and again
Pros: huge garden Lots of space Helpful and friendly management daily cleaning service beautiful rooms feels like home Con: no hot water in one shower one room is open and without air conditioning WiFi does not always work smoothly Visitors have to pay 50K IDR per day - we pay a lot of rent for the accommodation, who gets the money?!?!!

Great
The villa looks so nice and the owner of the accommodation and the people who clean it are so friendly, polite and helpful. Also, the villa is in a very good location as it is close to the best places and the beach. I loved spending my four months here.
Like at home
The villa is very nice and in good condition. Gede and his family do everything to make you feel at home. Had a great time there. Thank you
Sara Residence
Our time at Sara Residence was great and I will definitely miss it!
Nice but a bit expensive
The Shari Apartments are below average for accommodation in Bali that I have seen and heard about. It has a nice chill out area and helpful staff. It seems like they are still building it into a bigger complex. If you're looking for something in between a villa and an apartment, this is the place to stay.
Great for long-term stays
The accommodation is new and well built. It's great for socialising as there is a communal pool where you can spend time together. The flats are well cleaned and have a kitchen, which is great if you don't want to eat out all the time. During my stay the water and electricity didn't work during building work. Overall it's not for holidays if you're expecting a resort but it's great for students and young people.
nice place to live
Nice and clean place. The staff are very friendly, but they don't always speak good English. But that's not a problem for me. The air conditioning works, which is important. The cleaning service is okay. It's definitely good that you have your own fridge. Sometimes it is too hot in the bathroom as it is like outside (only a plastic roof in the shower area, no air conditioning)
Shari Apartments
sometimes there are spiders, bugs, cockroaches in the flat The drains sometimes smell when it rains
Shari Apartments
Everything okay, except: the door to the room didn't work properly
Cosy place
I had a nice stay in the accommodation. The staff are nice and the cleaning service is good. The bad thing is that I had rats in my room...I don't blame the staff for that, but it was annoying. I also had to pay for small things like a broken plate.
Would live here again
Very nice place, cosy beds and it is cleaned every day. There is the possibility to cook your own food and a nice pool area. Friendly staff and also laundry service, so actually everything you need.
Fitting and a good location
It's a nice place to live and I liked the atmosphere there as there were a lot of students. The location is also pretty good (close to everything). The flat was clean and has everything you need, but the rent is too expensive as the accommodation is neither special nor unique and the rent is very high.
Paradise Villas
I would live in the villa for rent again. However, the flat is (other than described) at least 30 minutes away from Udayana University. The roads are very bad. This should be pointed out on the website. Cleaning is done 2 times a week. Very nice staff. Cosy beds and large bathroom. The pool is small, but fits, reasonable price overall for the size of the flat. However, the utility bill is very high (160 euros). Overall picture fits.
convenient place to stay
Panen House is in a strategically good location. It is not surrounded by tourists, so you can find cheap market places just around the corner. The accommodation was clean and there was everything you need. No pool is a small minus, but the price was right so I could definitely do without a pool. It would be nice if the staff spoke English but on the other hand I was able to use my Indonesian skills as it was the only common language. A better road would make a big difference to the first impression of the place and the region.
Relaxed place in Seminyak
After a long stay in the villa, I can say that we had a good relationship with the owner of the house. It was a great advantage to live in the centre of the tourist area of Seminyak, but still be secluded from the people due to the one-way street at the entrance and the securities. The house was big enough for 6 people and we really enjoyed our time here. I can recommend the accommodation for students
Nice place to live
The villa is a cosy place to live for a few months. In case of heavy rain there is a possibility that it might rain into the house. One room is separate and without windows and not really protected against heavy rain. The furnishings are in good condition. The pool is a bit small but offers enough space to have fun. I recommend the place...
A few problems, but still a very nice location
I really liked the villa. Even with a few problems, such as the water pumps, we had a great stay. Lounge and open plan living room and nice bedrooms (one is a bit darker due to a very small window). Nevertheless, I would definitely choose the villa again for a stay with up to 5 friends.
Minor problems, but worth it for the price
Note that the price of this villa is lower than some others. So expect minor problems. You should also agree on who gets the largest room with an attached bathroom and who gets the room on the ground floor. There is mould on the walls. It can also rain in the house and, as usual, the Wi-Fi is not the best.
It's all right
It's quite expensive here but that could be due to the location. It's really in the centre of everything, in beautiful Seminyak. The beach is close. The pool is very clean! Really not a matter of course. But that was it with the positive aspects. Above all, the service from the house management is below average. Irregular cleaning and when they clean, only the floor is swept, the bathroom is hardly cleaned. The bathrooms are bad: 2 showers don't work, bathtub is broken and the pipes are constantly clogged. The door to the villa cannot be locked, neither can the large door to the living room. The TVs have no working channels, communication with the management is difficult. We had no electricity twice for several hours because the management forgot to pay for the electricity. All in all a stay that was okay, in a villa that looks great at first glance but shows some flaws once you are there.
Joe Appartment
All in all, Joe Appartment is an accommodation that can be recommended. Located in quiet Kerobokan, not far from Seminyak and Canggu, and close to shopping and local warungs. The building is new, but there are problems with humidity (during heavy rain it rains on the upper floor or the walls are damp) which of course favours mould (backpack and shoes are mouldy). There is a nice pool, which is large enough, but there are only four sun loungers for about 20 accommodation units and the pool is sometimes quite cloudy, which is not particularly nice to look at, but not too bad and in the rainy season this could only be avoided by using lots of chlorine. You live here with many local families, most of whom live in the two-bedroom apartments. A multi-cultural community per se with many long-term tenants. There is a small gazebo on the roof terrace and a table to sit at in the entrance area by the pool. However, the internet is hardly usable, especially in the outer rooms, i.e. you have to sit in the communal area if you want to do something on the PC. Due to the many families with children staying here and the communal area right next to the pool, this can be quite loud and disturbing if you want to work. There is no opportunity to sit down and relax with other people or spend a cosy evening - apart from the table in the entrance area.
