Description
J Villa is a brand-new 5-bedroom villa close to the beach yet right in the heart of the city centre. Situated in the heart of Seminyak, you can simply step out the front door and find everything your heart desires: shops, restaurants, spas, supermarkets, clubs and, most importantly, the beach. You can even walk there. Enjoy the breathtaking sunset on colourful beanbags under Balinese parasols on Double Six Beach, accompanied by live music, without even having to hop on a scooter first.
About the rooms: All five rooms are on the top floor. There is a very large master bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, a living room with a large flat-screen TV and DVD player, and a walk-in wardrobe. The four other bedrooms are identical and share the two other bathrooms upstairs. On the ground floor, there is another spacious bathroom with a bath. All the bathrooms have a continuous supply of hot water. All bedrooms are equipped with air conditioning and wardrobes.
On the ground floor is the living room, which features a large flat-screen TV with international channels, a DVD player and a stereo system.
The kitchen is equipped with a gas hob, a water dispenser, a blender, a toaster, kitchen utensils and a long dining table.
The long swimming pool gets the sun for most of the day (from midday until the evening) and is therefore ideal for relaxing on the sun loungers.

It's quite expensive here but that could be due to the location. It's really in the centre of everything, in beautiful Seminyak. The beach is close. The pool is very clean! Really not a matter of course. But that was it with the positive aspects. Above all, the service from the house management is below average. Irregular cleaning and when they clean, only the floor is swept, the bathroom is hardly cleaned. The bathrooms are bad: 2 showers don't work, bathtub is broken and the pipes are constantly clogged. The door to the villa cannot be locked, neither can the large door to the living room. The TVs have no working channels, communication with the management is difficult. We had no electricity twice for several hours because the management forgot to pay for the electricity. All in all a stay that was okay, in a villa that looks great at first glance but shows some flaws once you are there.

I lived in J Villa during my semester abroad in 2014 and I really liked it. Great house, great service, perfectly located and a great place to stay. I was thrilled and would stay there again any time!
