Good villa/location/staff - but a bit expensive and some things need to be improved
Good villa surrounded by rice fields and in a good neighbourhood. You are close to many things and yet you don't feel the traffic chaos. The staff is very nice and patient. However, we also had some problems: For example, the internet, problems in the bathrooms, water damage, the air conditioning often needed technical repairs, as did the safe, which was then replaced, and the water pump is very loud, which often deprived me of sleep. I know that these and many other things are small things, but for the price you pay, you expect something in return. I am so critical because I have spoken to many others and know of other accommodation in the same price segment. I don't know whether I would recommend the villa, but I could objectively point out the advantages and disadvantages and help you make a decision. I would also have to weigh up for myself whether I would live here again or not.
Good for holidays - unsuitable for students
The villa is very nice and the staff extremely nice, but the privacy is a bit lacking due to the construction. In addition, half of the guests were always tourists (which might be acceptable for less money). Unfortunately, a warung was opened directly in the kitchen of the villa and therefore guests often sit in the middle of the kitchen, where you still have to get your water and crockery.

Beautiful villa with large pool/garden. The pool is really huge compared to other villas! Lots of space, so even with 6 residents you're not constantly squatting on top of each other. Good location with lots of cheap local food in the immediate vicinity (night market). Unfortunately, everything is a bit old, especially the bathrooms should be refurbished (they are a bit shabby compared to other villas). Since the rainy season, unfortunately, there is also mould in the room and the cleaning lady only came 1-2 times a week and not 3 times as contractually agreed. But on the whole we felt very comfortable there! If I could, I would give it 3 1/2 stars, because a lot needs to be done.
Happy stay
For the 4-month trip to Bali, I decided to call Daivani Villa my own home. Why? Waking up and having a pool in front of your eyes is a great feeling. But what I loved the most was the owner and her family. They immediately welcomed me as a member of the family and made my life in Bali so much more enjoyable. I would love to come back again. Oh yes, the villa is a dream!
Again and again
The villa has a large lounge and a relatively large pool. The location of the villa is great, in one minute you can reach the best bakery in Bali. Furthermore, there are many warungs in the neighbourhood where you can eat cheaply. There were also no problems with theft as in some other villas. The cleaning ladies are very nice and try to help with everything. I would definitely recommend the villa.
Dreamview on Bali
We stayed there for one semester and really enjoyed our stay there. The interior is simple but good. The view is fantastic and it is calm because of the surrounded nature. From the pool you can see the ocean as well as from the rooftop where we spent many evenings. The villa is spacious and we often sat together in the kitchen/living room. Two of the rooms had only fans and that was a bit trouble in the hot season. All in all we will miss "our" Villa Moonah already because it felt like home from the beginning!
Review Sara Residence
I had a great time during my stay at Sara Residence. It's set up like a hotel (with really friendly and helpful staff). The location is great, very central. However, it takes 20 minutes to walk to the beach. The university is about 25 minutes by scooter. Unfortunately, we often had problems with the sanitary facilities, but this is probably due to the conditions in Bali :) It would be nice if more students lived there, as families and tourists were unfortunately in the majority during our stay.
Would stay here again
Nice accommodation with very friendly and helpful staff. The location is very good if you have a scooter. However, the beach is not as close as expected. The only negative aspect is that there are hardly any other students staying there and that you can hear the street very strongly in the upper rooms. However, you get used to it. Overall, I felt very comfortable.
Great villa with minor flaws
Thank you sir for the air conditioning in the living room and for the washing machine! Spacious common areas, well-equipped kitchen (the only thing missing was an oven, otherwise everything was available and modern). All rooms in good, clean condition, bathrooms in good order. The pool is unfortunately tiny and not suitable for swimming. Occasionally it rains into the house - but the owner always endeavours to make repairs quickly. Super location! Great restaurants within walking distance, nice neighbours, quiet street, beach nearby. We would come back again! P.S.: Contrary to the advert text, it is not a first occupancy after renovation!
Beautiful villa with lots of space
Villa Nineteen is a very spacious and generously proportioned accommodation with room for 5 people. Minor problems were always solved and the house keeping lady is super nice and very obliging. It is a pity that there are hardly any sun loungers by the pool. Nevertheless, the wifi is one of Bali's fastest connections.
Nice complex, but villa could be more "liveable"
Nice neighbourhood, very nice that the pool is shared with Villa Beo. Quiet neighbourhood and lots of greenery. Canggu only a few minutes away - more relaxed living than in Kuta for example The villa itself is in need of renovation. (new couch, wooden floor very old, etc) Kitchen could be more "liveable"! But otherwise nice seating around the pavilion/patio for evenings together! Landlords are also nice, people treat each other with respect, so a few beers in the pool with friends is no problem.

Nice accommodation
I had a great 4 months at Villa Nakula. Most of the staff were very friendly and helpful (Putrik was one of the best!) and everything went well. A little feedback on a few things: - Cleaning days (why do the days change almost every week?) - Visitor fee changed during the stay (?) - Toilet paper and water was not included in the rent and that was a shame because other exchange students had these things included

DeDukuh= Family
Super cosy place, the staff are super nice, rooms are clean and Ketut is the best manager there is! He helps you with all your concerns, gives short driving lessons in the car park, takes you to the doctor, ... Best decision I have made! The location is also perfect - 5min walk from Legian Street, 5min by scooter to KutaBeach & 5min by scooter to Sunset road ("highway"), so the route to the university to Jimbaran is easy to do, so I didn't feel it was a burden!

I would definitely use this accommodation again anytime. Ketut and the other guys are the friendliest staff I know and they will help you in any situation. It was like my second home! In addition, the location is perfect: 5 min. to Sunset Road and 5 min. to Legian Street.
Would stay here again
Each room had its own bathroom, although the two rooms on the lower floor unfortunately did not have hot water. The location of the villa is great, as everything is easy to reach by scooter. A particular highlight is the nearby night market, which always provided us with culinary delights. Wi-Fi always worked quite well on the whole. The landlord was always on hand and happy to help. Had a great time, especially thanks to the roomies.

Overall, the villa was ok. However, some essential things were missing, for example: kitchen equipment, things for the room, there was no place to put the toothbrush or soap dispenser in the bathroom, hangers for the wardrobe... I expected more for the money we paid. Perhaps it should not be mentioned that cleaning is done 3 times a week when in fact the cleaning lady only comes once a week. And sometimes even less often. We have had the same bed linen for the past 2 weeks. I don't know if this is common practice at the end of stays, but it shouldn't be like this,
Review Villa Hummer2
The landlord was very nice and very helpful at all times. However, I had no hot water in the shower the whole time. Although I pointed this out to the landlord several times. The cleaning lady was sometimes a bit irregular. Towards the end she was very careless and didn't change the bed linen and towels, for example. However, I thought the location of the villa was very good. You could also walk to the beach or go shopping etc. In general, I thought the rent was a bit high for what you got.
Would stay here again
The villa itself is beautiful, the rooms are different sizes and beautiful, but everyone pays the same. The small pool was ok, the large pool of Villa Hummer 1 was hardly usable for us, it often tipped over, but chlorine was only added. The contract stated that cleaning would be done 3 times a week, but this was never more than 2 times, occasionally only once. The landlord was always friendly and helpful, but we haven't had hot water downstairs for 3.5 months since day 1. However, he always repaired everything else immediately. In general, I felt very comfortable in the house and would come back again.

Villa DC is in a great location and had very nice staff. The rooms are large and the bathrooms are very good by Asian standards. The outdoor area is also very well maintained. In my opinion, the only drawback of the villa is that the electricity in the kitchen and in Room E very often fails. Otherwise, everything was great and highly recommended.

The villa has 6 rooms of different sizes, but they are all clean and nice. There are only minor complaints, such as water pressure or power cuts. Otherwise the villa has a good location and the maid Yeni is super nice. I would recommend Villa DC to anyone as it has everything for students with a large pool and a dining table which is great for beer pong.
