Description
If you are looking for a luxurious villa at an affordable price in Kerobokan, then Villa Baliku 3 is exactly what you are looking for. The villa is located on Jalan Banjar Semer and offers the perfect starting point to easily and quickly reach great restaurants, shops, 24-hour supermarkets and of course the beach, which is only a 5-minute scooter ride away. As the villa is located in a side street, it is quiet and safe despite its central location.
The villa consists of two separate buildings. The main building has two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and a large living area with an open-plan kitchen. The bedroom on the ground floor has an en-suite bathroom with bathtub and an outdoor shower. There is nothing better than showering in the open air, especially at night. The two further bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and an additional small living area are located in the annexe. All rooms have either a great view of the pool and outdoor area or of the surrounding rice fields.
In the outdoor area you can relax on the loungers by the pool, retreat to the shade of the gazebo or organise a small BBQ barbecue party.

Paying so much money for a good house in poor condition. Cockroaches and ants everywhere in the walls. Wifi/ water/ electricity sometimes not available for hours. House needs to be renovated.
Big disappointment
I would not recommend this villa to anyone. It is run down and nothing has been invested in it for a long time. The cleaner comes when she wants and the dishes are not even cleaned properly and the rest of the house is cleaned just as badly. In addition, there is hardly any equipment for the kitchen, which is being eaten away by woodworms. For less money there are much nicer villas around kerobokan and the rest of Bali.

Pros: Nice houses, very cool pool, good music system, friendly cleaning staff 3x a week. Reliable landlord who gets back to you quickly and is helpful. Cons: Mould, flat hardly furnished at all In one room facing the garden there is an outside door with large ventilation slots where animals constantly come through Bathroom otherwise only windows that are walled in and cannot be opened Very expensive at 490 euros/month/person Overall, we feel very comfortable here most of the time, but in retrospect we would have preferred a cheaper villa (300 euros)
Big great villa
Super spacious room layout. Sanitary facilities were not so nice. There were small defects here and there. But all in all a super nice villa where you have a lot of space for socialising. I would book again
Great villa with a few flaws ;)
+ large open-plan living area + 2 guest WCs + large kitchen + nice, large rooms with lots of space + location is great (quiet, you are quickly at the most important points, neighbours don't complain about the one or other party ;) + beautiful view + comfortable beds - Pool loses many tiles and is often cloudy and green - Bathrooms were mouldy at the beginning (mould was plastered over :D) - Bathroom fittings quite old and calcified - In heavy rain, the bathroom (lower room) and the room (upper room) in the "main house" are under water - some doors are stuck - next to the kitchen there is a "storage room", which basically only consists of mould (door was "taped" so that mould does not go into the other rooms) - Pool light does not work / only sometimes (even after we pointed this out several times to those responsible) - Security is NOT available. There is a security post at the top of the road, but it is 300 metres from the villa and only manned once every 3 weeks. BUT we still felt very safe here - the residential area is definitely safe! - Pool is completely in the shade from 3pm Now that we have the comparison to many other villas, we can say that there are a few nicer villas, BUT definitely also worse / much worse ones. If there are any defects, the landlord always takes care of them asap. The "staff" are super friendly and (by Balinese standards) reliable. We love staying here.
