The Komo Guesthouse is a lovely place to stay for anyone who wants to experience the surfing lifestyle in Bali first-hand. It’s owned by an Indonesian who’s a surf instructor himself and lives right on the premises. A particular highlight: he can offer you personalised surf lessons and surfboards at fair prices, and as a local, he knows the best spots and can give you valuable tips on all things surfing.
The accommodation consists of two buildings that share a large outdoor pool. Around the pool, you’ll find sun loungers, a garden and a terrace – perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach, getting to know other residents or simply soaking up the Balinese sun. All rooms are air-conditioned, have an en-suite bathroom and offer free Wi-Fi.
The location is also a real bonus: the Guest House is situated on a side street in lively Canggu, just a few hundred metres from Batu Bolong Beach.
