Very nice apartments with nice chillout areas for the students living here. Michael ( owner ) is very helpful. The apartments are very clean and well equipped.

I stayed at Padang Apartments from 01.09.2017-21.12.2017 for the time of my studies at Udayana University. The rooms are just like you can see on the pictures. Every room comes with eyuipment for 2 people, like 2 spoons, 2 dishes, 2 glasses and so on. They are clean and you will have everything what you need. Together with the rooftop the house has 4 floors. On the groundfloor you have a pool, which was always clean and nice, together with 2 apartments and the door for the backyard. In the backyard you will find a fireplace and 2 long-chairs. Me and the friends i made while living in the house didn´t use it that often. A nice thing to have is that around the house you will find Papaya trees and around the first floor balcony you will also find passion-fruits. All those are owned by the house owner and we were allowed to take them at any time. On the first floor which is on the same level like the street you will find 5 apartments. Above that, on the second floor you find 4 apartments. In one of those (A3) I was living. Those 4 on the second floor also have access to a big balcony which is a huge plus for those apartments on that floor. The third floor is the rooftop from where you have a nice view. If it is nice weather and the view is good you can even see the cliffs of Nusa Penida from up there. Back to my apartment, I always enjoyed being here since it`s a nice place and I made new friends with the other students that lived here the same time like I did. There are not many bad things that I could say about this place. One thing that sometimes is annoying are the dogs from the neighbourhood which sometimes are quite loud in front of the house. But you get used to that with the time being here and that´s normal in Bali. The owner of the house is from germany and lives in Bali since 9 years. He can give a lot of good tips and was always very friendly and helpful. Another positive thing is that you can rent a scooter directly from the owner if he has availabilities. Driving to the university takes 10-12 mins and there is not much traffiv which is very nice in the morning. Another positive thing is that you have a lot of nice beacher withing 15.20 minutes on the scooter. If you like thos this is a good place to stay. If you prefer partying hard you should search for an accommodation in Kuta, Seminyak, Kerobokan, etc. But that doesn´t mean there is no party available in this area. And also if you want to go for a party in Kuta or Seminyak or whatever and you share a taxi with the other students in the house its just one euro for each. If you like to be near the university and near to a lot of nice beaches fpr surfing and relaxing this house is perfect. Anyone who is considering to choose this house but still has questions is welcome to write me and email at anytime. The contact is [email protected]
Review by Laura B. on 15 Jan 2018review stating Padang Apartments
Location of the villa was not very good, close to university but so far away from all restaurants/bars/clubs in bali and the road towards the villa was a bit unsafe and so hard to find for taxi drivers / Uber. Apartment was clean and nice. Dajat was very friendly but communication was quite hard cause he didn`t speak any english. It was nice to have Michael in the villa every now and then cause he helped a lot.
Review by Sarah H. on 5 Dec 2019review stating Padang Apartments
We spent four months in the accommodation, First of all, is not located In Jimbaran as it is said on on the website. The location is okay, pretty far from the tourist area somewhere between Jimbaran and Nusa Dua. Positive is that it only takes 15 minutes to Udayana University. There are a few shopping possibilities in walking distance. It’s constantly noisy due to chickens, dogs, and small children. In addition, the entire area is very noisy. The room has a comfortable size, the furniture is sufficient and in good condition. The existing stove does not work properly.. The air conditioner does never really cool down the roo. they probably have to be inspected. The roof terrace is very nice, the pool area too, however the pool was no longer useable after two months due to heavy pollution. The toilet flush is not working properly and the showerhead is totally calcified and that only little water comes out. The WLAN ofter works very badly. Generally, this accommodation is quite expensive for this location. The beautiful are the passion fruits plants. The housekeeper Dayat is very nice and friendly, unfortunately his English skills are very bad but he is really helpful. rating star will be given is 3 out of 5
