Jimbaran homestay is the perfect home away from home. The hospitality of the owners who live here will make you feel like you’re a part of their family. The house consists of 5 bedrooms out of which 3 bedrooms are available for rent. There are 2 bedrooms upstairs that are facing the pool and 1 bedroom downstairs that is also facing the pool. The house is fully furnished with new furniture.
Jimbaran homestay is located in a luxury residence area with peaceful and tranquil ambience. It’s only 2 minutes walk to Udayana University campus in Jimbaran, 5 minutes to McDonalds, Pizza Hut and KFC Jimbaran, 5 minutes to Four Seasons Bay & Muaya Beach and 15 minutes to the famous beaches of Balangan, Padang-Padang and Uluwatu.

I found a new family here. Helen and Adel are charming hosts with whom you can spend wonderful weekends. At first I was a bit shocked by Bullterrier Choppy, but in fact, he is like Hello Kitty – a very kind dog. Will definitely come back!

As I can tell H20 is the right choice for everyone who is looking for an insight into indonesians culture and lovely roomates all at once!
Most students are renting villas in Bali, which are mostly overpriced. They sadly ending up with people from their homecountry and lacking a huge part of cultural exchange. For me personally it was important to learn the language and to get in touch with all the beautifuls sides Bali and Indonesia in general has to offer. So the decision to stay at H20 was easy to me, especially after my first visit and my first meeting with Helen, who is a wonderful, kind and loving person. You can enjoy a room directly in front of the pool. The kitchen and the livingroom are huge! Perfect for chill nights! I promise you won’t miss out on anything when choosing this homestay over a student villa! Moreover the location is close to perfect for every student. You are directly in front of the university. Also you are surrounded by beautiful beaches.
But more important than this is the fact that you will get to know the most caring, helpful and enthusiastic people on the whole Island! I’ve never felt so comfortable at a new place straight from the beginning like here

To choose and live in this homestay is definitely an excellent choice. It is not just renting and staying in a pool-view bedroom, it is the experiences that made everyone loves H2O Jimbaran. The housemates are frequently interacting among each others. We often go out together exploring beaches or fantastic places and end up experiencing local foods as our meal. ;)

These guys truly became our new family here in Bali. We enjoyed every second here and will come back whenever we can! We love our H2O family ❤️ So guys if you appreciate having awesome people around you and are looking for more than just party life move in, you won’t regret it. Halim Hendra and Helen are lovely people and will help you with everything, you will feel comfortable from the first second. Moreover there is no better location for international students of the Udayana University! The university is just across the street, so there is the chance to be back home in a second when the lessons got cancelled (what happens quite often) and start the daily activities. Others will be jealous when you can drive right to the beach, while they have to drive e.g. 40 minutes to kerobokan first and lose their time. The most famous beaches are just around the corner and it takes only a few minutes to Kuta. Also McDonalds, Pizzahut and several italian restaurants etc. can be reached in 5 minutes. For the daily snacks there is a warung and a juicebar in front of the house as well as the cantine in the university across the street and a minimart with beer on the same street. Please keep in mind that there have been a lot people in the past who had problems in big student villas, because people started arguing with each other and there is normally the need of one person who has the whole responsibility for payment etc. and also it happened (with me as well) that european people cheated on students to get the money. So do yourself the favour and skip these problems. H2O Homestay is more than just trustworthy. Everyone is responsible for his own payments, so you don’t depend on other people and every room has its own electricity meter to track your consumption (what nearly no other villa has, this is another way to cheat on you at other places). For me it was the best decision that I made, to stay here with these honest and lovely people. You always feel safe, because they can help you in any situation (accidents, homework etc.) and they accept you as a part of your family. It really comes from their heart and you will appreciate it, i promise!

Diese Menschen sind wirklich eine zweite Familie abseits von zuhause geworden. Wir haben jede Sekunde hier genoßen und kommen unbedingt wieder! Wir lieben unsere H2O Familie über alles❤️ Hendra Helen und Halim sind wundervolle Leute und deshalb hoffen wir, dass die nächsten Bewohner das auch zu schätzen wissen. Wenn ihr mehr sucht als nur Studentenpartys dann kommt hierhin und erlebt Bali mit ihnen zusammen. Sie werden euch immer helfen und die besten Insider Tipps geben. Ihr werdet euch von der ersten Sekunde an wohl fühlen, das verspreche ich! Darüber hinaus ist die Lage unglaublich. Gerade für Studenten aus dem Ausland ist es ein Katzensprung bis zur Uni. Einfach über die Straße laufen. Jeder Student wird euch beneiden, wenn ihr in den ausfallenden Stunden (passiert ständig) direkt nach Hause laufen und zum Strand losfahren könnt. Andere aus Kerobokan fahren da 40min und verplempern ihre Zeit. Die berühmtesten Strände sind alle in der näheren Umgebung und Kuta ist auch super zu erreichen. McDonalds, Pizzahut und sämtliche Italiener sind in 5 Minuten zu erreichen. Vor der Tür ist ein Warung und eine Saftbar, außerdem kann man in der Kantine der Uni auf der anderen Seite der Straße essen. Für Bier gibt es den Minimart entlang der Straße (fußläufig zu erreichen). Ansonsten würde ich euch ans Herz legen, dass es in großen Villen oft zu Streitereien kommt, da die Menschen nicht mehr miteinander auskommen. Dann gibt es wiederum Probleme, da eine Person die ganze Verantwortung bezüglich Zahlung etc. auf sich nehmen muss. Darüber hinaus ist es öfters zu Betrugsfällen gekommen, bei denen europäische Vermieter auf einmal Zusatzkosten veranschlagt haben (ist mir auch in der ersten Villa passiert) oder aber man kann die Stromrechnung nicht nachvollziehen und verliert so ziemlich schnell sein Geld. Tut euch selbst den Gefallen und geht diesen Problemen aus dem Weg! Beim H2O Homestay ist jeder für sein eigenes Zimmer und die Zahlung seiner Miete verantwortlich. Darüber hinaus hat jedes Zimmer seinen eigenen Stromzähler dirket vor der Tür und kann alles nachvollziehen (gibt es sonst in kaum einer Villa). Für mich war es die beste Entscheidung hierhin zu ziehen, genau umgekehrt bereue ich es, dass ich sie nicht eher kennenlernen durfte! Sie sind die ehrlichsten und liebenswertesten Menschen und ihr werdet euch hier sehr sicher fühlen, denn sie wissen in jeder Situation zu helfen (Unfälle, Hausaufgaben etc.) und vorallem nehmen sie euch von Herzen auf. Glaubt mir, jeder der zu uns zu Besuch kam hat sie direkt gemocht und das werdet ihr auch, gebt ihnen nur eine Chance!
PS: Drei unglaulich tolle Hunde warten darauf mit euch zu leben und zu kuscheln! :)
