In general, there is not a big difference between the different providers, since the tariffs do not differ a lot and telephone calls in Bali in general are quite favorable. XL has proved itself for a broad coverage of the network among the students in the previous semesters. The costs mainly depend on the provider of the called party. That is, if you mainly telephone with 3-4 friends (which is probably the case in the semester in Bali), then it would be advantageous if you all have the same provider, so you can make cheap calls among each other.
