JP’s Warungclub – a must for every day.
JP’s warungclub is not only a restaurant with super delicious food, but besides the great live music every evening, it also has super nice events.
When I was a student in Bali in 2010, I was a very frequent visitor in JP’s. The owner is German and has made an extra student menu where the Arak Caipis costs only 10.000 Rupiah and a delicious Mie Goreng only 20.000 Rupiah. You really only get this in JP’s. JP’s was recently renovated and now has more seats, both inside and outside. In the evening from 9 onwards, there is always live music, varying from top-40 and jazz to Rock’n’Roll. Thursday evenings were always a must for me since my favorite band Capsoul played then.
In addition to the daily events there is the Oktoberfest in JP’s with a real beer tent and good Bavarian cuisine. When I was there there were several events like: Sexy Party, Tattoo Intervention, Koelner Carneval, Halloween Party and of course Live Bundesliga. Every few months there is also an extra student party!! They recently started the monthly Comedy Club with an Australian / English Comedian. So I can really recommend JP’s Warungclub to each student. If you haven’t been to JP’s, you haven’t seen Bali!
